Privacy Policy
1. Overview
Photoest is an iPhone camera and selective-colour photo editing app. It lets users take photos, import photos, edit colour regions, add stickers or shapes, and save final images.
The current Photoest app does not require an account and does not operate a self-owned server that uploads, stores, or shares your photos.
2. Information We Access or Process
- Camera access: used to capture photos inside the app.
- Photo library access: used to import photos you choose and save edited results.
- Photos and edits: processed locally on your device to render filters, selective-colour regions, stickers, shapes, and final output.
- Feedback email: if you choose to contact us, your email address and message are sent through your mail app and received by us.
Photoest does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, precise location, contacts, payment information, or account credentials.
3. Local Processing
Photo effects, subject selection, colour range editing, stickers, shapes, and saving are handled locally on your device. Imported or captured photos are not uploaded by Photoest to our servers.
4. Third Parties
Photoest uses Apple platform frameworks for camera, photos, haptics, and system features. If you download Photoest from the App Store, Apple may process download, crash, diagnostic, and analytics data according to Apple's policies and your device settings. This page is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may process standard web request logs when you visit it.
5. Children
Photoest is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through feedback email, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
6. Your Choices
- You can deny or revoke camera and photo library permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can delete photos saved by Photoest from the Photos app.
- You can choose not to send feedback email.
Service Agreement
1. Use of the App
By using Photoest, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You are responsible for the photos, edits, stickers, shapes, and other content you create, save, or share.
2. App Availability
Photoest is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
4. Updates
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We may revise this Privacy Policy and Service Agreement from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
