Bingodays Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Bingodays respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Bingodays app processes information when you use the app.

Bingodays does not operate a separate Bingodays account system. You do not need to provide us with an email address or password to use the app.

Information and Data We Process

Content stored on your device

By default, Bingodays stores your app content locally on your device. This may include:

Some local data is stored in an Apple App Group container so that the Bingodays app and its widget can use the same information. App Group storage remains on your device and is not a third-party sharing service.

Optional iCloud sync

iCloud sync is off by default on each device. If you choose to turn it on, Bingodays stores a sync copy of the following data in your private Apple CloudKit database:

This data is used only to provide app functionality, including synchronization, conflict handling, and recovery across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. The feature uses the private CloudKit database scope; it does not use a public or shared CloudKit database. Bingodays does not operate its own server for this synced content. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Bingodays does not request your Apple Account email address, password, or profile name for iCloud sync. The app keeps a one-way hash of the CloudKit user record identifier locally on your device to detect an Apple Account change and prevent automatic migration to a different account.

Your StoreKit membership or subscription entitlement is not uploaded as part of the Bingodays iCloud sync data. The current iCloud sync feature is for your own devices using the same Apple Account and does not share your app content with iCloud family members.

Voice input

If you choose to use voice input, Bingodays requests access to:

These permissions are used to convert speech into task text. Bingodays does not save an audio recording. Depending on your device, language, and system settings, Apple may process speech recognition on your device or through Apple’s services. The recognized text becomes app content and is handled like other task text, including optional iCloud sync if you have enabled it.

Analytics and remote configuration

Bingodays uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config, services provided by Google, to understand app usage, improve reliability and features, measure purchase flows, and deliver app configuration such as offer or update information.

The data processed for these purposes may include:

Bingodays does not intentionally send task titles or task text, reward names, diary text, voice audio, or iCloud content payloads to Firebase. We do not use Firebase data to serve advertising or to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchases and membership

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Bingodays reads the purchase entitlement and related transaction information required to provide membership features. Apple controls payment information and purchase records. As described above, limited purchase-event metadata may be processed through Firebase Analytics, but membership status is not included in Bingodays iCloud sync.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

iCloud Data Merging and Conflicts

If both the device and iCloud already contain Bingodays data when you first enable sync, the app asks you to choose whether to use the iCloud data or merge iCloud data with local data.

During normal multi-device synchronization, the latest modification wins. If two records have exactly the same modification time, a deletion wins over an edit, followed by the higher record revision and then a stable device-identifier tie-breaker. As a result, an edit or deletion made on one synced device may replace content on another device.

If a device is offline or iCloud is temporarily unavailable, changes remain local until synchronization can resume.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising or cross-app tracking.

We use the following service providers only for the purposes described in this policy:

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer where permitted by applicable law.

Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can:

Turning off iCloud sync stops future uploads and downloads on that device. It does not automatically delete local data or the existing iCloud sync copy, and a system sync operation that was already queued may still finish.

The in-app Delete iCloud Data action deletes Bingodays’ sync copy from the current private iCloud database and turns off sync on that device. It keeps the local data on that device. The deleted iCloud copy cannot be restored after the operation finishes. Another device that remains signed in to the same Apple Account with Bingodays iCloud sync enabled may upload its retained data again.

Deleting the Bingodays app does not necessarily delete the Bingodays sync copy stored in iCloud. If you change Apple Accounts, Bingodays pauses sync and does not silently move the old account’s data to the new account; turning sync on again is an explicit decision for the current account.

Data Retention

Local content remains until you delete it or remove it through the applicable device and app controls. iCloud sync content remains in your private iCloud database until it is deleted through Bingodays, through applicable Apple iCloud controls, or under Apple’s retention rules. Firebase analytics data is retained under our Firebase project’s retention settings and is then deleted or aggregated. Apple retains purchase records under its own legal and operational requirements.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data and the services described above. iCloud, StoreKit, speech recognition, and Firebase data are also protected under the security practices of their respective service providers. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
